Module 8 Small Group Comunication

We had a work-team meeting to discuss the relocation of our desks. The leader of our discussion was the manager of Customer Service. We discussed the new area and how our desks would be arranged. For security risk, we discussed putting a lock on the door. We discussed in great detail the communication factor between departments and how we could resolve this problem. Some suggestions were; Put a one way speaker in our area so we are able to hear the information from system control. Ask the telecom department what could be done to reset the radios to pick up two way conversations and another suggestion was to put our new door closer to the operations floor so we could hear activity.
We did agree on putting a lock on the door until the security door is replaced, and confirmed we needed to do more research with other departments to resolve the communications issue.
